Tangerine Twist

Well I miss you all, it's been a while since I've blogged pictures! I've been stuck at home with a pile of books, unfortunately :O. Well, thankfully today I am going out to dinner with the family, which is an excuse for me to get dressed up. Today for my outfit, I wore an apricot color blouse with a black skirt. I am usually against orange and black because of the Halloween vibes it emulates. However, this shirt isn't a bright orange. For jewelry, I found this crystal necklace in my moms jewelry box which I absolutely love! Usually when I go out I wear a pair of heels, but today I didn't want to look the tallest out of the family(lol). This photo shoot was so much fun, it was photographed by my younger sister! I hope everyones doing well, and keeping up to their resolutions!

Slight Stripes

Oh, how I've missed blogging! I've been in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic for the past week, and I couldn't be happier to be back home. While there, I took advantage of the beautiful scenery by taking blog pictures; this will be one of several vacation posts. For some reason, I tend to wear things on vacation that I wouldn't usually wear at home. Maybe it's the tropical atmosphere that inspires me? I'm not quite sure. I wore this sheer red dress two different ways. The first as a dress with a black slip underneath, and the second time as a cover-up for my one-piece, red bathing suit. I definitely liked it more with the red on red effect! I also ended up running into the ocean after hours and getting drenched, but it was absolutely worth it. After all, that is what dry cleaners are for, right?

Sequins and Leather

I wore this outfit at my new years party. This year my family wanted to wear all gold. It was so difficult to find something gold that was appropriate to wear around family. However, I found a gold sequin shirt. I tucked it into a pair of black leather shorts. I wore the leather shorts in an appropriate yet stylish way. I paired the black gold accented belt to compliment the color scheme. With my jewelry, i didn't do much cause my top was bold enough. Well, I hope everyone enjoyed their new years because I had so much fun at my party. Stick to your resolutions for 2012! My resolution for this year is to get more followers and for our blog to go farther!

Sheer Sophistication

The hotel I was recently staying at had the most breath taking lobby. One would think that it would be a blogger's ideal photoshoot location, but of course that was not the case. The lighting was atrocious and the camera's flash ruined the entire atmosphere. On the bright side, I managed to selvage some pictures from the gala dinner I went to! Besides the beautiful draping of this dress, the back is to-die-for. It is super sexy, but still sophisticated and chic. I'll be going away and escaping the harsh winter this New Years (can't wait!) I'll be sure to write all about it when I come home.
